Anika Myers Palm is a business and consumer issues reporter. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and has written about economic trends and development, elder issues, real estate and education as a freelancer and staff writer for several newspapers and magazines in Florida. She has a particular interest in economic issues affecting women and families.
She became a journalist after spending two years working for T. Rowe Price, the mutual-fund-services company.
Her other interests include cooking and reading biographies and science fiction.
Anika, a Florida native, lives in Orlando with her husband, visual journalist Eric Palm, and her boxer, Kwali T. Palm.
